VICAR DAILEY is leading worship and proclaiming God’s Word this morning as Pastor and Denise Wolfgram attend the Christmas At Concordia Concert in Seward, NE. Pastor Wolfgram will return to Bismarck on Sunday afternoon.

THE BOARD OF YOUTH and the Human Care committee are partnering together to provide Christmas Bags for Wachter students in transition. It is our goal to provide packages for 40 students. The second half of this quarter proceeds to Human Care will go to help provide items for the Wachter project. Please pull at tab from the display outside the cloak room and return items to the church by next Sunday, November 15.

CHRISTMAS CAROLING will take place on Sunday, December 22. We will meet at 2:30 at the church and sing to home bound members of our congregation. We will gather back at Shepherd of the Valley for snacks and fellowship.

Messiah Lutheran Presents Annual Classical Christmas Concert

Messiah Lutheran Church, 1020 Boundary Road, Mandan will present the Annual Classical Christmas Concert “All My Heart Again Rejoices” on Sunday, December 15, 2019 at 3:00 pm. Concert goers will enjoy Messiah’s Chancel Choir as well as the choir from Holy Cross Lutheran Church.

Choral works by Holy Cross and Messiah Lutheran Chancel Choir will include classical music written by composers of the past and present and traditional favorites accompanied by piano/organ and trumpet. Messiah’s Handbell choir will also perform. The audience will be invited to sing along on traditional hymns. Choral selections include, Where Shepherds Lately Knelt, Mary Did You Know, Now Sing We Now Rejoice. Traditional favorites include Of the Father’s Love Begotten, Hark the Herald Angels Sing, and O Come all Ye Faithful.

Samantha Henke, trumpet, will perform as guest musician. Holy Cross Lutheran Church Choir is directed by Kathryn Ring and accompanied by Joanne Drevlow. Musicians from Messiah Lutheran Church include Thomas Wyatt, organ, Quincy Wyatt, piano and Renae Hoggarth, piano and organ.

A reception will follow in the St. Paul Room at Messiah Lutheran Church.

Messiah Lutheran Church is located at 1020 Boundary Road, Mandan, I-94 Exit 152, directly north of Sanford Health Sunset Drive Continuing Care Center. A free will offering will be taken.
