WELCOME!! We are glad that you have joined us this morning as we lift up our hearts and voices in response to God’s great gift of forgiveness and life in Christ Jesus. If you are a visitor, please sign our guest book and introduce yourself to Pastor Les Wolfgram.
PASTOR WALLA will lead the Wednesday service and proclaim God’s Word on July 8 at 7:00 pm.
AT SHEPHERD OF THE VALLEY LUTHERAN CHURCH we celebrate the Lord’s Supper in the confidence that we receive, along with the bread and wine, our Savior’s true body and blood “through and in which we obtain the forgiveness of sins.” Besides individually receiving Christ’s free gift of forgiveness in this sacrament, all those who commune make a confession of the faith that we believe and teach in the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. To commune at this altar is to accept the doctrinal position of this congregation. Because of that common confession, we invite those who are members at sister Missouri Synod Churches to join us at the Lord’s Table. If you would like more information on our understanding of the Lord’s Supper, please visit with Pastor Wolfgram.
THE HUMAN CARE COMMITTEE has selected North Dakota District LC-MS as the recipient for the third quarter. The plan is to focus on Women’s Care Center for the 4rd quarter. The director of the Bismarck center will present to our congregation on October 18.
PASTOR WOLFGRAM will be on vacation from Sunday afternoon through Tuesday. Please contact Vicar Dailey if you are in need of pastoral care during Pastor’s absence.
YOUTH ENTERING GRADE 6-12 are invited to the home of Pastor and Denise Wolfgram, 4601 Rolling Ridge Road on Sunday evening at 6:00 pm. Join Dane Wolfgram, student in the Director of Christian Education program at Concordia University Nebraska, for refreshments, fellowship and study of God’s Word. You may reach Dane at 701-400-5044.
WE WILL CONTINUE our Sunday morning Bible Study each Sunday, during education hour from 9:30-10:30am. We will study Paul’s letter to the Philippians.
YOU ARE INVITED to join us for a farewell meal for Vicar Dailey and family on July 19 at Bethel Lutheran following the 10:45 service.
