WELCOME BACK! It is great to have you join us in God’s house as we worship the Lord of life.
WE REJOICE WITH Annie Hojian as she brings her infant son, Ricky Remington Ford Hojian, to be baptized into Christ. Serving as sponsors for Ricky will be Curt and Mandy Hojian. We pray God’s rich blessing on Ricky as he is baptized into Christ.
WE WILL CELEBRATE the Lord’s Supper as a part of our service today. We ask that you practice social distancing as you are ushered forward by family group.
A SPECIAL ASCENSION DAY SERVICE will take place in the parking lot at Zion Lutheran Church on Thursday evening, May 21, at 6:30pm. This service will serve as the closing chapel of the school year for Martin Luther School. You are welcome to join us. We will also offer our regular Wednesday evening service at 7:00 PM on May 20.
AT SHEPHERD OF THE VALLEY LUTHERAN CHURCH we celebrate the Lord’s Supper in the confidence that we receive, along with the bread and wine, our Savior’s true body and blood “through and in which we obtain the forgiveness of sins.” Besides individually receiving Christ’s free gift of forgiveness in this sacrament, all those who commune make a confession of the faith that we believe and teach in the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. To commune at this altar is to accept the doctrinal position of this congregation. Because of that common confession, we invite those who are members at sister Missouri Synod Churches to join us at the Lord’s Table. MAY 24: Rev. Jim Meyer (CRM), St. John’s Lutheran Church, Thief River Falls, MN, presents the message: “Are You In?” based on John 17:1-11. This Is The Life program is: “Love is Not Enough”. SHEPHERD’S HILL AT THE CROSSROADS is offering Bible Camp experiences for youth and adults of all ages. The first camp is Kinder and Discovery Camp for children entering kindergarten through third grade. Kinder Camp is one night and Discovery Camp is two. This will be offered June 7-9 and June 28-30. Be sure to pick up a SH@CR brochure to learn of all the camp offerings for summer 2020. Sign up sheets are on the bulletin board near the rest rooms.
