WELCOME!! We are glad that you have joined us this morning as we lift up our hearts and voices in response to God’s great gift of forgiveness and life in Christ Jesus. If you are a visitor, please sign our guest book and introduce yourself to Pastor Les Wolfgram.

AT SHEPHERD OF THE VALLEY LUTHERAN CHURCH we celebrate the Lord’s Supper in the confidence that we receive, along with the bread and wine, our Savior’s true body and blood “through and in which we obtain the forgiveness of sins.” Besides individually receiving Christ’s free gift of forgiveness in this sacrament, all those who commune make a confession of the faith that we believe and teach in the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. To commune at this altar is to accept the doctrinal position of this congregation. Because of that common confession, we invite those who are members at sister Missouri Synod Churches to join us at the Lord’s Table. If you would like more information on our understanding of the Lord’s Supper, please visit with Pastor Wolfgram.

MESSIAH Classical Christmas Concert is this afternoon at 3:00 PM.

THE CHILDREN’S CHRISTMAS SERVICE will take place on Wednesday, December 18, 6:30 PM. Please join us as the children recall the blessed night when our dear Savior was born.

THANKS TO ALL who have contributed to the Wachter Christmas Bag project. Youth of the congregation will package the bags following the 10:45 service. Lunch will be provided for the youth.

CHRISTMAS CAROLING will take place on Sunday, December 22nd. WE will meet at the church and sing to home bound members of our congregation. We will gather back at the church for snacks and fellowship.

THE NEXT SHEPHERDING OUR STRAYS workshop will take place on January 4th. Please prayerfully consider how you might assist and care for our straying and strayed members. If you are interested in serving in any way at Shepherd of the Valley, please go to and complete the online survey.

THE CHRISTMAS EVE service will take place at 6:30 PM on December 24. Christmas Day Service will take place at 9:00 am and the Lord’s Supper will be celebrated.

THE NEXT Men’s Network will take place on December 21 from 9:00-11:00 AM.
