WE REJOICE THAT THE LORD has led the Council of Presidents of the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod and the Placement Committee at our seminaries to place Candidate Justin Woodside as Shared Assisting Pastor at Bethel and Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Churches. Thanks be to God! Please pray for Justin as he completes his seminary studies and as their family looks toward their move to Bismarck. Pastor Elect Woodside will be installed at a joint service at Bethel Lutheran Church on August 2nd at 4:00pm.
SEPHERD OF THE VALLEY will return to “In-Person” worship this week. We will gather on Wednesday, May 13, for our regular mid-week service at 7:00pm. Service times on May 17 will be 8:15 and 10:45. There will be no “in-person” Bible Study or Sunday School. We will offer on-line Sunday School at 9:30. We will practice social distancing and have other safety measures in place to protect the health and well-being of attendees. If you are not feeling well or do not feel comfortable attending the “In-Person” services, plan to stay home and watch the “live-stream” of the service. We give thanks to the Lord that we will once again be able to worship together under one roof and lift our voice in praise to God as we receive His gifts.
SHEPHERD’S HILL AT THE CROSSROADS is offering Bible Camp experiences for youth and adults of all ages. The first camp is Kinder and Discovery Camp for children entering kindergarten through third grade. Kinder Camp is one night and Discovery Camp is two. This will be offered June 7-9 and June 28-30. Be sure to pick up a SH@CR brochure to learn of all the camp offerings for summer 2020.
