THE HUMAN CARE COMMITTEE has selected North Dakota District LC-MS 1-1-1 effort as the recipient for the third quarter.   This week is the last week that will be counted toward this effort.  1% of offerings goes toward this mission support for our ND District.  This includes support for Pastor Dan Suelzle at Wittenberg Chapel on the campus at UND.  


SEPTEMBER 29 Middle School students at Bethel and Shepherd of the Valley in grades 6-8 are invited to a Pizza and Bible Study get together on Tuesday, September 29 from 6:00 to 8:00.  Pizza and games will be provided as well as an in depth study of the Scriptures with Pastor Woodside.  RSVP to Pastor Woodside.


OCTOBER 11 High School students at Bethel and Shepherd of the Valley are invited to a Pizza and Bible Study get together on Sunday, October 11. We will meet at Shepherd of the Valley at 12:30.  Pizza and games will be provided as well as an in depth study of the Scriptures with Pastor Woodside. RSVP to Pastor Woodside.


PLANS ARE COMING TOGETHER for the 12’ X 16’ storage shed that will be built by Grayson Lawyer as his Eagle Scout project.  Donations to this effort are greatly appreciated.  The cement slab has been poured and plans are in the works to place walls and complete the project.  


“EUROPEAN VACATION” is the theme of the October 4 concert for the Missouri Valley Chamber Orchestra.  Their twenty-first season of chamber music opens with an aural trip around Europe with your tour guide, the MVCO Woodwind Quintet.  Works from five countries include the well-known Carmen Suite by Bizet and a work featuring our French hornist Krystal Jordan, Nocturno by Franz Straus.  The concert begins at 3:00 pm at Shepherd of the Valley.  Tickets are Adult $18.00, Senior $15.00, Student $10.00, Child $5.00.  Season tickets for the four concerts are available at a discounted price.  (One free child admission with one paid adult or senior).
