AT SHEPHERD OF THE VALLEY LUTHERAN CHURCH we celebrate the Lord’s Supper in the confidence that we receive, along with the bread and wine, our Savior’s true body and blood “through and in which we obtain the forgiveness of sins.” Besides individually receiving Christ’s free gift of forgiveness in this sacrament, all those who commune make a confession of the faith that we believe and teach in the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. To commune at this altar is to accept the doctrinal position of this congregation. Because of that common confession, we invite those who are members at sister Missouri Synod Churches to join us at the Lord’s Table. If you would like more information on our understanding of the Lord’s Supper, please visit with Pastor Wolfgram.
THE HANG OUT will take place on Tuesday, July 23, 6:00 pm at Shepherd of the Valley. Bring a dish to share. Vicar Brock Schmeling from Zion Lutheran Church will lead a Bible Study and we will enjoy conversation and games. Please join us.

VICAR RICHARD DAILEY and family will move in to 307 East Wachter on Thursday, July 25. We will have an Unload The Truck party on Thursday at 6:30 PM. Plan to join us and meet Vicar Dailey. He will have an induction service at Shepherd of the Valley on August 11 followed by a welcome meal.

JULY 28: Rev. Bernie Worral, Immanuel Lutheran Church, Fargo, ND, presents the message: “For the Sake of a Few” based on Genesis 18:25. Today’s “This Is The Life” program is: “Spite ”. “MAIN STREET LIVING” is a locally produced TV program that includes a 30 minute worship service led by participating pastors of the Minnesota North and North Dakota Districts of our LCMS, along with a 30 minute Lutheran Hour program (normally “This Is The Life”, along with occasional church-season specials). Programs are broadcast at 10:00am Central on: KBMY Xtra Channel 17.3 Bismarck/Dickinson, Channel 594, as well as the cable and satellite systems carrying these stations, some of which may have a different channel number, and archived on www.mainstreetliving.com (then click on “North (Fargo)”.
